One of the best things about the 4th of July, other than the obvious (patriotism, barbecue, illegal fireworks), is being able to dress from head to toe in red, white, and/or blue! Everyone and their grandma will be strutting around in their best Independence Day gear, but that doesn’t mean you can’t stand out in the sea of stars and stripes. As far as we can see, there is no reason to give up style for celebration, so we’ve picked our favorite go-to 4th of July pieces that are suited for every signature style.
Nothing screams patriotism more than a cute dress or top with red and white stripes. Not only will you look the most patriotic when you wear red and white stripes at your 4th of July bash, but you will also look super chic. There are a couple different ways to can wear stripes for Independence Day. You can go full on stripe-mania or give just a subtle hint of stripes. We love our Flag Sleeve Tee for just that subtle hint of stripes that every girl needs for the 4th. This t-shirt comes in either white or blue with stripes on one sleeve and stars on the other. This t-shirt would be super cute paired with some blue jean overalls and some white sneakers.
Just like wearing stripes for your Independence day extravaganza, stars can either be played up or down, depending on what your personal style is. Now if the day calls for you to take a little more time getting ready or if you just plan on doing it up big this year, subtle may be the way to go.
